I agree with 80% of this brief, loving takedown of Downton Abbey. 
Though I’m not quite so forgiving. The title of MY version of this essay would be: “Downton Abbey: you are increasingly awful with every passing episode…but I’m still watching you…for now…BUT CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED!”
