Stories like this one make me wish I’d pursued my dream of being a baseball announcer a whole lot harder. (In fact, I never pursued it for a single second.) I’d listen to Jon Miller and Joe Angel call Orioles games on WBAL as I went to sleep every night, and can still sing half the ads that were in rotation during those years.
